Calavista, founded in 2001, is focused on helping companies improve the quality,
timeliness, and predictability of their software throughout the entire development
cycle. We offer software and services to facilitate development work at all stages
of the process. Though our software and services stand on their own, they are
complimentary, working together to help improve your overall process, ultimately
reducing your dependency on expensive, manual testing.

Management Team
Lawrence Waugh, COO, received 2 BS degrees from MIT and his MS degree in Computer
Science from Stanford University before beginning his career in software development
and development management. He gained his industry experience working for several
major enterprise software providers, working in both Development and Professional
Services organizations. Prior to cofounding Calavista, Lawrence served most recently
as VP of Engineering for Aviri, Director of Technical Integration and Director
of Professional Services for Agillion, Director of Content for pcOrder, and Senior
Technical Manager for Trilogy Software. He is also a decorated former Navy pilot
and Gulf War veteran.
Sandeep Gupta, CTO, holds an MS degree in Computer Science from MIT, and 3 BS
degrees from Rice University. Prior to cofounding Calavista, Sandeep was the
Development Manager for Aviri Software and a Senior Consulting Manager at Trilogy
Software. He brings to Calavista 15 years of academic and industry experience
in software development and process management.
Todd Rahmes, CFO, brings to Calavista extensive experience in joint venturing,
licensing transactions and business development as well as operational and sales
support roles. Prior to Calavista, Todd headed up the combined legal group for
seven financial services software companies under the SunGard umbrella. He gained
his initial experience within the software industry as a corporate and technology
licensing attorney for Brobeck's Silicon Valley office. Most recently Todd was
COO for Latilla LLC, delivering operational risk management software to Tier-1
banks.
