“We’re looking forward to increasing our involvement and support of the great work ATC does, working to benefit the Austin tech community.”

Calavista Software, an Austin-based software development company, announced today that co-founders Lawrence Waugh and Sandeep Gupta, have been appointed to the Austin Technology Council Board of Directors. This comes upon the heels of ATC’s announcement of a new, two-year roadmap to secure Austin’s position as a global leader in technology and life sciences.

Eight new executives from top Central Texas companies (including Gupta and Waugh) joined the Board of Directors to guide the execution of the roadmap and initiate a new era of thought and market leadership, focused on achieving a vision of Central Texas as the best and lowest barrier-to-entry market for technology and life sciences businesses.

“Calavista has felt for years that the Austin Technology Council provides a unique value to the Austin tech community, and for this reason we’ve been long-time sponsors of the organization,” said Lawrence Waugh, co-founder of Calavista Software. “We’re looking forward to increasing our involvement and support of the great work ATC does, working to benefit the Austin tech community.”
